Taking to X, a group of eco-warriors conducting a cleanup in a nearby river expressed their frustration with a local homeowner who threw rubbish into the water, blatantly disregarding its environmental impact.

The video begins with one of the eco-warriors holding a bag of trash that had just been thrown by the homeowner—an act that, according to the group, was far from a one-time occurrence.

Confront

“We are recording this video not to condemn anyone, but this is exactly why our rivers are always clogged. This man threw his rubbish into the river during our cleanup,” they shared.

“We’ve told him many times not to do this. We want him to understand how it feels if someone threw rubbish into his home.”

They added, “We’re going to confront him and tell him off. If a fight breaks out, so be it. We’ve had enough.”

The two men then made their way up the riverbank in search of the homeowner’s residence.

Upon finding him, the confrontation began.

“Can you please stop this? This is your rubbish. This is what causes floods and all the problems that come with them.”

Initially, the homeowner refused to take responsibility. He claimed it was the first time he had done it. But the eco-warriors weren’t buying it.

“This isn’t the first time. We’ve seen you do this before. Just stop,” they told him.

Eventually, the man admitted fault and promised to do better.

“It’s not like there’s nowhere to dispose of your rubbish properly near your home, right?”
