Watch: Man Dances In Front of Fully-Stocked Shelves in M’sia to Poke Fun At Kiasu S’poreans
Singaporeans have been wiping supermarket shelves clean over the weekend in light of the novel coronavirus that’s spreading quickly in the country. As of today, 43 cases have been reported in Singapore.
Photos posted on social media showed them stocking up on instant noodles, toilet paper and various other essentials needed to survive several weeks at home without going out.
In mockery of these kiasu Singaporeans, a TikToker actually made a video showing fully-stocked shelves in Malaysia!
Tawfik Daud posted the video on Facebook and has since been shared about 17,000 times!
In the 12-second video, he awkwardly dances in front of the fully-stocked shelves with captions that include, “KL so calm”, “the grass is greener on the other side”, “if not enough, come to KL”, “don’t worry, still got stock”.
Here’s the video:
People sure know how to make something funny out of any situation. 😂 The irony of the whole thing, though, is that Tawfik is… Singaporean.
