As commoners, most of us would feel shy or fearful to approach our royal families in order to ask for pictures, right? Well, one little boy thought us that there’s no need to be scared, especially considering our Yang di-Pertuan Agong is super friendly!

Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah is currently out and about at Pulau Tioman, Pahang, where His Highness was seen riding a motorcycle around town and having chats with the residents there.

One adorable resident, a young boy aged at about 5-years-old, had even approached the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and bravely held His Highness’s arm to ask for a picture. As expected, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong’s friendly nature led His Highness to hold the boy for their picture to be taken, as showcased in a video by Malaysia Gazette.

They wrote, “A child in the age range of 5 was determined and brave to careless grab the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and said that he wanted to take a picture with His Highness.”

In the video, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong had automatically held the boy the moment His Highness felt him grab His Highness’s arm, a sweet gesture that shows how much His Highness loves children.

The Yang di-Pertuan Agong held the boy for quite a while as His Highness joked around with him and checked out the football jersey the boy was wearing.
