Watch: Child Runs Across Road, Driver Stops Just In Time To Avoid Crashing

Injuries resulting from road accidents are the most common cause of death among children, more common even than cancer and birth defects.

You’d think that this information would have made parents to be more careful – but not in this video.

Viewer discretion is advised.

In the 31-second video, the driver can be seen driving at a moderate speed down a rather dimly lit road, with stalls on both sides of the road.

Unknowingly, a child, dressed in red, crossed the road without parental supervision, almost colliding with the driver’s car.

It is a good thing that the driver stopped his vehicle in time.

Shockingly, the parents of the child gave disapproving looks at the driver as if to blame the driver for not being mindful of traffic.

WTF weh?

Netizens commenting on the video, gave a piece of their mind on the issue, slamming the parents for their negligence.

Look, it is not rocket science. If you have children, and you are about to cross the road, just educate them on road safety, ok?
