The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) are currently tracking down a man in his 50s suspected of breaking into a house while being fully nude in Section 20, Shah Alam yesterday. As reported by national news agency Bernama, Shah Alam district police chief ACP Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said that the case was being investigated under Section 457 of the Penal Code.

Iqbal further commented that the man was suspected to have broken into the house at around 3.30am and stole some cash. The house owner, a 49-year-old woman and her 18-year-old daughter were sleeping in the living room when they were awakened by a ‘glare’.

They then realised the presence of the nude intruder in their home and screamed, prompting the man to flee the scene. The victims told the police that the man was fully nude but was wearing a face mask.

Furthermore, the description of the man fits perfectly with a viral video of a nude man wearing a face mask wandering the housing area in Section 19, Shah Alam. Section 19 is just adjacent to Section 20 and the police believes that the video was taken before the house-breaking incident.

Iqbal said that efforts are being made to track down the suspect. Those with information are advised to contact Assistant Investigating Officer, Sergeant Mohd Shafarulrazi at 010-8889910 or 03-55202222.
