Shopping is undeniably a popular Malaysian pastime, one which most of us look forward to during the weekends (aside from eating, of course). Sadly, with the continuous rise in Malaysia’s cost of living, many of us have had to tighten our belts over the years. But what if we told you that come 2019, you can stand a chance to save BIG on groceries by having someone else foot the bill on your Chinese New Year (CNY) grocery shopping? Serious okay, we are not lying.
If this sounds too good to be true to you, then think again!
Caltex in partnership with Mydin is offering Malaysians the opportunity to shop till they drop during the upcoming CNY and Chap Goh Meh festive season!
In conjunction with the festive season, Caltex is organising a supermarket sweep at selected Mydin outlets across the country where Malaysians will go head to head in a race against time to shop for their daily necessities.
Perhaps what makes this supermarket sweep even more exciting is that up to RM100,000 worth of items are up for grabs. So, be sure you’re on your game and grab as many items as you can before the three-minute time limit is up!
The best part? It’s so easy to participate! Simply refuel at Caltex or shop at any Mydin outlet during the campaign period starting from 15 December 2018 to 15 March 2019, and you could have your groceries completely paid for.
Piqued your interest yet? 😉 Deets on how to enter Caltex’s supermarket sweep are as below.
How to enter:
- Fuel up a minimum of RM30 at any Caltex station with a JOURNEY™ or B Infinite Card = 1 entry
- Spend RM30 at any Mydin shopping outlet = 1 entry
- Spend RM30 with a JOURNEY™ or B Infinite Card + Spend RM30 at any MYDIN = a bonus of 3 entries
JOURNEY™ & B Infinite Card members are automatically in the running when they pump at any Caltex station. For Mydin shoppers, they are required to upload their shopping receipts to the campaign portal to qualify for an entry.A total of 35 winners will stand a chance to be part of the sweep, which will be taking place at the following Mydin outlets:
- Mydin Bukit Mertajam, Penang
- Mydin Gong Badak, Terengganu
- Mydin USJ Subang Jaya
Winners will be contacted in advance by the organiser about the actual date and time of the sweep.
Amazing right?! To be honest, all this talk about going on a mega CNY shopping spree AND not having to pay for it has got us pretty pumped up for the upcoming festive season. We don’t know about you guys, but we sure know where we will be refueling from now on. Can win free groceries leh, sure onz lah!
