The debate regarding the rights of migrant workers has been going for months with some believing that they weren’t treated well in Malaysia while there’s also a group that believes foreign workers are a hindrance to the Malaysian employment system.

Despite that, everyone should be treated with some compassion. That wasn’t the case however with this video that has been going viral where a Nepali security guard was getting abused repeatedly by his employer.

In the 45-second-long video, you can see the employer beating the security guard mercilessly while asking him what’s his problem.

“Are you messing around? You come here to look for work, not problems.”

The video was recorded on the 7th July and has since been going viral. We reached out to Andy Hall who tweeted regarding the issue who informed us that the Nepal Embassy in Kuala Lumpur has been informed of the issue.

They released a statement that a police report has been filed and further investigations will be conducted. WORLD OF BUZZ has reached out to the embassy and we’re currently waiting for more information from them.
