That seems to be the case for UNIQLO which responded to customer requests for a bigger size lineup for kids in stores. As a result, now they are offering Kids items in a larger size at 160cm for your “growing” little ones.

Now if you’re like the writer who hails from above average height, you wouldn’t give this post a second thought, but after asking around and having a peek at the comments section, it turns out, many average Asian adults are 160cm and lower!
Netizens in the comment section expressed their astonishment and even added that they’ve been shopping in the kids section for years.
One netizen even requested Uniqlo Malaysia to make adult clothes in smaller sizes as she has friends who are fully grown adults who find the XS clothes too big.
“I have full grown adult friends but sometimes the XS is still bigger in sizes that they need to go to the children corner to buy.
Y’all can consider having more XXL sizes on tops and dresses as well.. Instead of just the ultra stretch jeggings or some pants line.”
