Having found her son, 17-year-old David Balisong, safe and sound at a hotel in Jalan Pudu, Kuala Lumpur, after he had run away from home to Malaysia due to an alleged family dispute, his mother is planning for them to return to the United Kingdom (UK) as soon as possible.

However, she could not comment in detail on the exact time they will return until further confirmation from their respective embassy.

According to a report by Berita Harian, 50-year-old Minerva Balisong shared that she and her son have been in contact with their embassy representative in regards to the matter of returning to the UK.

She also requested time and space to resolve matters first, and refused to comment further on the discovery of her son.

“Since my son was found yesterday, I have not rested yet. Give us time, because there are things that need to be resolved. We will also return to our country of origin as soon as possible,” she said.
