VIDEO: 2 Local Men Beat Up Construction Worker in Setapak After Home Renovation Dispute

Recently, a video of two men beating up a helpless man on the ground has gone viral on social media.

Police have since opened up an investigation to look into the case, which has reportedly taken place at a condominium in Setapak.

According to reports, the fight is believed to be due to a misunderstanding related to home renovation work.

In the video, the two men can be seen punching, kicking, and hitting the man on the ground. At one point in the video, one of the men even attempted to stab one man and taunted two others.

Wangsa Maju District Police Chief Superintendent Ashari Abu Samah said:

“The Criminal Investigation Division of the Wangsa Maju District Police Headquarters (IPD) is conducting an investigation into the viral video in accordance with Section 323 of the Penal Code.”

He added that the case is still under police investigation.
