Like its name, Majestic Hotel offers an afternoon tea that is equally majestic. Served in a rather oriental tiered tray, you can choose to dine in 3 different locations: the Colonial Cafe, The Drawing Room and their most popular one, The Orchid Conservatory.

Location: The Majestic Hotel, 5 Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin, Kuala Lumpur.

Tea Time: 3.00pm-6.30pm daily

This little hidden gem is tucked away on a hill that overlooks Botanical Garden. Carcosa was established since 1897 and belonged to Sir Frank Swettenham (gah highschool sejarah memories!) while Seri Negara was known as the King’s House.

The two mansions Carcosa and Seri Negara are now combined as a luxury hotel where you can have delectable afternoon tea sessions at! Pretty cool huh?

Location: Taman Tasik Perdana, Persiaran Mahameru, 50480 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Tea Time: 3.00pm-6.00pm daily

3. Thirty8

Instead of the usual tea set, patrons who visit Gran Hyatt’s Thirty8 go for their most popular signature cake. It even has dry ice for a cool smokey effect.

The restaurant’s name came from its location on Grand Hyatt’s 38th floor, so if you’re afraid of heights, you may need to call a friend who can help you overcome the fear because their amazing view of the twin towers are to die for.

Location: Grand Hyatt, 12, Jalan Pinang, Kuala Lumpur City Centre, 50450 Kuala Lumpur

Tea Time: 3.00pm-5.00pm
