This M’sian Vet Posing With Her Oyen at Her Wedding is The Most Wholesome Thing You’ll See Today

Weddings are a special time in everyone’s life, not only for the bride and groom but for those they hand-pick to surround them for this sacred period. And one Malaysian veterinarian made sure to bring along a particularly important pet that has made a huge impact on her life.

A recent series of photos has been making waves online after Malaysian veterinarian Dr Maysarah Yatya shared images from her wedding ceremony of herself and a very special guest. In the photos, Dr Maysarah posed with her pet cat while sitting on the wedding dais at her ceremony.

Gleaming with joy and full of smiles, Dr Maysarah, in her wedding dress, casually posed with the orange kitty cat while holding it in multiple positions, from cradling it in her arms to holding its paws up.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Dr Maysarah stated that while her cat, whose name is Labuja, lives with her, it enjoyed sleeping on the dais as they prepared for the ceremony, so she invited it to take photos with her since it was already there.

“Labuja actually belonged to a customer of mine at the clinic I work at. They brought Labuja to the clinic because it was sick and they wanted to get rid of it. However, I decided to rescue Labuja and now it lives with me. From sick to healthy again,” said Dr Maysarah to WORLD OF BUZZ.

According to the doctor, some of Labuja’s favourite pastimes include sleeping.

Receiving a wide response from the public, many Malaysians expressed how they would love to bring their pets to a wedding ceremony, even their own if they were lucky enough.

“I brought my cat to a wedding ceremony. But the problem is, he’s an introvert. Looked so handsome wearing his Baju Melayu, but he ran in front of the guests and hid in the room,” added one user, while another stated that her cat loves to claw at things, so she’d likely never be able to take him to a wedding.
