We always love a teacher with a good sense of humour because they make studying less dreadful!

China Press wrote that a lecturer from a local university (Tunku Abdul Rahman University College, TARUC) hilariously posted a picture of an unexpected reference in a student’s assignment.

The lecturer, Mr Teh Peng Hong, found out that one of his students put an adult website (Pornhub) as one of their references for an assignment. What!

Mr Teh, who was curious about the link decided to search for the page as he needed to check the assignment but unfortunately, the page could not be accessed. This is because many pornography websites have been blocked by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) from 2015 to October 2018.

Mr Teh wrote in his viral Facebook post,

“Dear students, please use (a) website that I can access, I am curious (about) the materials you refer to. Thank you.”

At the time of writing, the hilarious post has garnered over 2,600 shares and over 1,000 comments. You can read his post below:

Dear students, please use website that I can access to it, I am curious of the materials you refer to. Thank you.

Obviously, the netizens were amused by the lecturer’s post and they started leaving their comments under it. One netizen said that the reference is definitely for research purposes. No doubt, no doubt!

On the other hand, others suggested an alternative way to open the site because Mr Teh said he couldn’t gain “access” to it. Meanwhile, another person is quite curious about the topic of the assignment. We’re curious too.

Well, the reference could have been an honest mistake (or not) but Mr Teh’s sense of humour is definitely commendable and we bet that his classes are never boring. Have you had lecturers with a wicked sense of humour? Let us know in the comments below!
