She wrote, “10 pictures is not enough to showcase the beautiful soul that you are. You’ve always been obsessed with angels, so I guess you’re now our angel. I hope you lived a happy life, mum, I hope I made you proud, I’m sorry for not being able to give you the life you deserved. Thank you for loving me as I am.”

“My beloved mother, Jenny Wong’s wake will be held on June 24 (Saturday) and June 25 (Sunday). Please give me time to update you with more details. Thank you for the kind messages, and thank you for loving and being loved by my mum.”

According to a report by Malaysia Gazette, her mother was the second victim to be found deceased after a kepala air (water column) incident at the waterfall at Kampung Orang Asli Sungai Pertak.

Assistant Director of Operations of the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM), Mohamadul Ehsan Mohd Zain shared that she was found at 10:20pm on June 21 (Wednesday) in a rock crevice at a distance of 50 meters from where a first victim was found.

The fire department had initially received a call informing them that 2 women had been swept away by strong currents while bathing at the waterfall.

The first victim, a 55-year-old Chinese woman named Yuan Ling, was later found 200 meters from the original location of the incident.

Our sincerest condolences to Talitha Tan and her loved ones.
