Suspect on Motorbike Shoots Man Dead at Banting Fast-Food Eatery, Bullet Casings Found at Scene

Recent videos have gone viral showing the aftermath of a shooting at a fast-food restaurant in Banting, which left a man dead.

The incident happened yesterday (4 January) around 10:00 PM while the victim was dining at the eatery. In one of the videos shared via @update11111, the victim can be seen lying lifeless on the ground, with onlookers gathering around.

In another video, several bullet casings can be seen scattered across the restaurant floor.

According to Sinar Harian, a police team that received information about the incident quickly arrived at the scene and secured the area to keep the public away.

The area was cordoned off under strict police control to allow the forensic team to carry out investigations.

Also at the scene were Selangor Chief of Criminal Investigation Department, Senior Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Hatta Che Din, and Kuala Langat District Police Chief, Superintendent Mohd Akmalrizal Radzi. The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) K9 unit was also deployed.

The suspect is believed to have been riding a motorcycle and is still being pursued by the police.

An official statement from PDRM hasn’t been released yet, but one is expected soon.
