There are many things in the kitchen that can look like cat food.

Tuna, cookies or in this case, fried onions, may look like cat food to the weary eye. Having mistakenly served her cat fried onions one morning, one netizen shared a video of their dumbfounded cat and its reaction to the mishap that took place.

In the caption, the netizen wrote, “I’m sorry Cici, it was an accident.”

“Let’s change things up a bit. Who knows it may taste good.”

Taking to the comments section, netizens shared their own switch-up story when catering to our furry friends.

“I once gave my cats Cocoa Crunch. I wondered at the time why they smelled nice.”

My dad once ate kibbles meant for cats. He thought it was something else. No wonder it tasted odd,” said another user.
