Strongbow has brought three nature warriors together and challenged them to refresh our urban city lives with nature. The result? An interactive oasis of nature right smack in the middle of our city. See? Now you don’t have to leave the city to be surrounded by nature!So, here’s what you can expect from the Refreshing by Nature experience at 1Utama Shopping Mall, from now ’till 29 July!
Chill out or venture through ‘The Wonderland’This display was created by the award-winning, world-renowned architect and ecologist, Dato’ Dr. Ken Yeang, who is known for delivering distinctive and ecological designs. Basically, he’s the Malaysian godfather of eco-architecture!
What you can expect:
- Take a break from the hustle and bustle of city life and experience being in the park, surrounded by Apple trees. Maybe bring a blanket and have a picnic!
Interact with nature at a Concrete Jungle beautifully put together by Biji-Biji InitiativeThis environmental-based social enterprise aims to share progressive ideas with everyone. How? Simply by championing up-cycling and sustainable living using fresh and fun approaches that everyone can implement in their daily lives!
What you can expect:
- LED trees that interact with people, emphasizing the relationship between nature and humans.
Love plants? Check out the Fresh Produce section by Ohsum MossumThe leading name in terrarium-making, Ohsum Mossum gives people the opportunity to interact and connect with a world beyond their urban dwellings.
What you can expect:
- Explore a seemingly impossible world where our cold shopping mall aisles get taken over by nature and are covered in lush greenery instead!
