“It felt as if I was reborn” – Sajat Is Now Officially A Woman After Aussie Govt Approves Her Application

It has been a few hectic months for Sajat but apparently, she has found her ultimate happiness abroad.

Recently, in a live Instagram video, Sajat shared her great news & revealed that she is now a woman following the official change of her gender status. 

“It felt like as if I was reborn,” she expressed in the live video.

She also mentioned that the process of changing her gender status in Australia was simple and straightforward. In the video, she proudly shows the form needed for the change and how it has been approved by revealing the approval stamp on top of the form.

Sajat also expressed her gratitude to the country for understanding her situation and that she is proud and comfortable with being a woman.

“I can finally be myself. I hope people will accept me for who I am.”

Despite the change of her gender status, Sajat reveals that she will retain her name as it is. This is because she deems her name to be “1 in a million” as people will immediately think of her when it comes to the name.

“I’m proud of my name. The whole world knows this name!”

In the meantime, she said that she is happy now that things are over and this is what she has always wanted in her life. You can watch a short clip of her announcing the change of her gender status below.

Sajat decided to leave Malaysia for good and started to reside in Australia last October as she did not feel safe back in her homeland. Since then, things have been looking good on her side.

Regardless of what’s next for Sajat, we hope that she’s happy and contented by being herself.
