Recently, Pakatan Harapan’s Syarleena Rashid reminded Syed Saddiq to focus on his job and resign if he can’t fulfil his duties after the latter was spotted spending a lot of time with local actress, Bella Astillah.

In an Instagram post by @syedsaddiq last night (February 12), the co-founder of MUDA revealed why Malaysians have been seeing a lot of Bella and him on social media recently. He also debunked the rumours that he was not doing his job as an MP.

It was all for work

Syed, who is also the Member of Parliament for Muar clarified that the climb up Mount Kinabalu with Bella while dressed in traditional outfits was NOT a vacation. They were modelling for Prima Valet and had been occupied with photoshoots for the Raya collection.

“RM1 million for Muar”

In return, Prima Valet contributed RM1 million to the Muar Parliament, but not in the form of cash.

In his post, Syed said that people in Muar will benefit from his modelling work as Prima Valet has given him over 3,000 Raya outfits for children, over 1,500 Raya outfits for senior citizens, 500 prayer robes for women, another 500 prayer robes for men, and 800 big food baskets.

Syed will distribute all those items to the people in Muar.

“I will do whatever it takes for the people of Muar.”

“What do I get from these? I feel tremendously happy. When I see the underprivileged happy, that makes me the happiest person,” Syed said.

Previously, Syarleena Rashid reminded Syed to carry out his due diligence as the MP of Muar. Syed has never responded directly to Syarleena.
