Rider in Kelantan Killed On The Spot After Crashing into a Pickup Truck to Avoid Large Pothole on The Road

A motorcyclist in Gua Musang, Kelantan, lost his life after trying to avoid a pothole on the road.

The rider lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a pickup truck coming from the opposite direction, killing him on the spot.

The 30-year-old rider, Mohammad Khairul died due to serious injury on the head and feet. The Gua Musang district’s Chief Police, in a statement, revealed that investigations found that it was not raining during the accident but there was heavy fog, and visibility was only up to 20 meters ahead.

The deceased rider was from the Paloh 1 area, and he rode his Honda RS 150R motorcycle to a plantation area yesterday morning (January 20). The accident occurred around 7:50 AM.

The body of the deceased has been sent to the Gua Musang Hospital mortuary for autopsy. The pickup truck driver, on the other hand, did not sustain any injury.

PDRM has launched an investigation under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
