The Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) has announced that they managed to capture the burglars who have been terrorizing the areas of Rawang and Selayang.

The trio, which includes an Indonesian lady, was caught at about 1 am during an operation done in the area. As reported by Awani, the Gombak District Police Chief, ACP Samsor Maarof said,

“The modus operandi of the trio is to use a screwdriver to enter the house via the window. They would then search the house for valuables. After getting what they were looking for, one of the suspects would defecate somewhere in the house, so that the victims would believe that it is some sort of a black magic ritual and they are now cursed.”

He also elaborated that the leader of the group, known as Cicak (Lizard) would then sell those items to their friends for about RM50 to RM100 each.

The trio has been doing their sh*tty business from the beginning of 2018 usually between midnight and the early morning. They are currently being remanded till 16 January while an investigation to tie them to three break-ins is being carried out.
