Some people are just too much for their own good.

Smhn

Facebook user ‘Maria Louise Dass’ took to social media to recall how she was harassed by a “ridiculous prick” on the MRT after she tried to sit down on an empty priority seat. And get this – he had the cheek to ask for “proof” she was pregnant!

“I’m on my way home from my appointment on the MRT, circle line. I walk to a priority seat as it was empty and I politely asked this ridiculous prick standing right in front of the seat, to excuse me, so I can sit down.”

Obviously the man just HAD to rile up a fight #smh.

“He pointed at the reserved seating sign and stared at me wide eyed.. I said yes, I am pregnant.”

We understand if he probably wanted to make sure people don’t abuse the reserved seat but to do it rudely? The man further ridiculously asked the lady for evidence that she was pregnant.

“HE ASKED ME FOR PROOF!?!?!?” she wrote in disbelief.

“I said who the hell are you to ask me for proof? Do you want to see my medical bills? My baby’s ultrasound pics??”

As if to add salt to the wound, the man went on to further ‘justify’:

“He replied that I’m not in pregnant wear. WOW I didn’t know I had to look pregnant to be entitled to this seat.”

And astonishingly the man didn’t stop there. Oh no. He continued to harass her and her pregnancy!

“He sticked out his tongue at me and mocked that I’m going through pre natal stress.”

Unable to contain her cool anymore from all the insult, the lady barked back at the rude man.

“Furious and Shaking, I screamed at him to F OFF.”

Netizens questioned his bewildering behaviour, especially when the seat was not occupied in the first place, while others expressed their sympathy for the pregnant woman who had to go through this ordeal.

“Walau.. He also not sitting on that reserved seat, y cannot let u sit?!” one wrote.

“It is ppl like him who brings disgrace to humankind. There is absolutely no excuse for such behaviour. I’m so sorry u had to go through this darling.” Another user commented.

Honestly, it’s one thing to be rude, but another thing to be rude AND lacking in common sense.
