The Star Vendors Foodstival is coming under fire after a ‘sexy’ performance at their food festival event at the Melaka International Trade Centre (MITC) had gone viral.

A health and beauty entrepreneur had recorded a video of her performance and posted it online, which caught the attention of many including UMNO Youth Leader, Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh.

He has since taken to his Facebook page to condemn the performance.

Performance 1

He wrote, “The organisers of the Star Vendors (Foodstival Melaka) at MITC need to take responsibility for taking extreme actions and not taking care of the sensitivities of the Melaka state community. Such cheap activities are unnecessary and should be opposed.”

“We demand an apology from the organisers and they need to be banned from organising any events within the state of Melaka!”

In the video showcase, a group of women can be seen singing on stage while they gyrated their behinds at the crowd and participated in a few other rather inappropriate dance moves.

Performance 2

Soon after, a man then pulled another woman on stage, where she too joined in on the ‘sexy’ performance.
