A plane has crashed outside the Brazilian city of Sao Paolo, killing all 62 passengers on board, reported Al Jazeera.
The Brazilian airline Voepass also confirmed the matter, saying that “there were no survivors.” Flight 2283 was traveling from Cascavel in southern Parana state to Sao Paulo’s Guarulhos International Airport when it crashed in the city of Vinhedo.
āThe company regrets to inform that all 61 people on board flight 2283 died at the site. At this time, Voepass is prioritising provision of unrestricted assistance to the victimsā families and effectively collaborating with authorities to determine the causes of the accident.”
One home in a local residential complex was damaged in the area where the plane fell, but all residents survived without sustaining any injuries. Vinhedo, with about 76,000 residents, is located approximately 80 kilometers (50 miles) northwest of Sao Paulo.
