As the perverts in this world are getting bolder, us females have to get smarter and be more alert in order to not fall prey to them. The Straits Times reports that yet another perverted man was caught and brought to justice in Singapore.

41-year-old Tsai Wei-Feng, a Taiwanese academic, had just lost his job at National Sun Yat-sen University so he decided to go over to Singapore and seek for employment at the National University of Singapore (NUS). However, it was during this period that he was caught red-handed filming upskirt videos of at least 71 women with a pinhole camera attached to his left shoe.
On 17 December 2016, he was arrested at Takashimaya Shopping Centre on Orchard Road when a 22-year-old woman noticed his odd behaviour and decided to follow him. The young lady was alerted of his presence when she felt Tsai bump into her haversack as she was shopping with three friends.

She noticed that Tsai was tailing her friend who was clad in a black dress and he had surreptitiously stuck his left foot out and aimed it below her skirt. Suspicious, the young lady told her friend and both of them followed Tsai around the store.
The smart young ladies confronted him when he was about to leave the store and he was detained by the security guards. The police arrived shortly after and seized the pinhole camera, which had eight video recordings.

Deputy Public Prosecutor (DPP) Jason Chua told the court that Tsai had carefully planned out his agenda for the day and attached the pinhole camera to his left shoe before committing those obscene acts at around 7pm. He had filmed multiple unsuspecting women before he was caught.
In fact, sometimes he would film the same victim several times, and in one instance he was discovered to have filmed one victim 15 times. That’s a lot!
In his defence, Tsai’s lawyer said that he was diagnosed with voyeurism back in 2015, which also partly caused him to have a lack of self-control.
He faced a total of 71 charges of insulting modesty and was sentenced to 18 weeks in jail.
