Starting from acid attacks to a hammering incident and lastly to robberies, many believe that the attacks on footballers are part of a bigger plan.

However, PDRM has excluded one of the robberies as part of a bigger scheme.

According to The Sun Daily, Datuk Hussein Omar Khan, Selangor’s chief police, has said that Selangor FC’s Ahmad Khuzaimi Piee was not the only target for a house robbery, other houses in that area were also targeted.

Investigations showed that the suspect had peeked at other houses to trespass into before going into the footballer’s house.

“The house was not targeted because he is a footballer, that’s only a coincidence. The identity of the home owner is of no relevance in this case,” he said.

The police chief elaborated: “The suspect thought that the footballer’s place was less risky than other houses as there was no one home. Hence, they decided to rob that house.”

On 22 May, Khuzaimi shared pictures of his house in a messy condition and a damaged doorknob. The athlete was reportedly at football practice and had only returned home at 9 pm.

His Y5 Movistar motorcycle and some sling bags were stolen along with his passport.

Well, we hope that authorities can get to the bottom of this.
