When we’re in trouble, the first people we would call are the authorities, from police officers to medical personnel.

But what happens when it’s the authorities who are in need of help?

The Jabatan Siasatan Dan Penguatkuasaan Trafik PDRM took to their Facebook page to praise the general public for coming to the aid of a traffic police officer who was involved in an accident.

Accident 1

“Picture of the day, the community’s concern in helping a traffic police officer involved in an accident is praise-worthy.”

This incident took place on September 24 (Saturday), where Cpl Ahmad bin Mat Said had gotten into an accident while riding a Honda CBX motorcycle in Johor.

“We were touched when nearby road users, with the spirit of Keluarga Malaysia, Cpl Ahmad was helped by these people including the woman as seen in the picture,”

“Thankfully, Alhamdulillah, Cpl Ahmad is in good condition and he only has a wound on his knee. To those who helped during the incident, we thank you. Your good deed and kindness, we cannot repay with words. You all are truly unsung heroes,” they added.

When we’re in trouble, we call the authorities and best believe that if the authorities are in need, Malaysians will be there to help.

Get well soon, Cpl Ahmad!
