As reported by BERNAMA, Bentong District Police Chief Supt Zaiham Mohd Kahar said that the post-mortem carried out at the Bentong Hospital revealed that the cause of death was “respiratory arrest secondary to acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease”.

Besides that, the Bentong District Police shared that they received two police reports regarding the incident on the day it happened, one from the victim’s 53-year-old daughter and another from a 55-year-old Bentong Municipal Council (MPB) officer.
