PDRM Detains Two 16yo Male Students in Kuantan For Recording 13yo Girl In a Shower

The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has detained two 16-year-old students in Kuantan for investigations into the possession and distribution of a lewd video involving a 13-year-old girl acquaintance in a shower.

As reported by BERNAMA, Kuantan District Police Chief ACP Wan Mohd Zahari Wan Busu said that the 2 suspects were arrested yesterday (21 October) after testifying to a police report made by the girl a day prior.

Wan Mohd Zahari asserted,

“The complainant claimed that one of the suspects said he had a video of her bathing and extorted her for RM50 if she wanted the video.

“The complainant claimed that the video was spread by another suspect because it was made while they were in contact via video call in May.”

Police Officer Arrested 2

The two 16-year-old male students are being investigated under Section 292 of the Penal Code for possessing obscene videos.

Under the provision, offenders face up to 3 years in jail or a fine or both if convicted.
