The police immediately took action

Based on the video, the heavy load on top of the car eventually shifted and fell, blocking the windshield. This caused the car to slowly swerve into the opposite lane before coming to a stop as all the cargo tumbled off.

Sepang District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Norhizam Bahaman, said they had detected a 13-second viral video uploaded on social media at 10 AM on May 19 (Monday).

“The Sepang District Police Headquarters (IPD) Traffic Division immediately took action to trace the vehicle and managed to locate it about an hour later at the same location,” he said.

“The public is advised not to make any speculations”

Norhizam added that initial investigations revealed that the 59-year-old man had a valid driver’s license and the vehicle had all the necessary travel documents.

He added that the vehicle was seized under Section 60 of the Road Transport Act 1987 for inspection and further action.

“The public is advised not to make any speculations that could disrupt the investigation process,” he said.
