A Myanmar national was arrested by police on October 28 for allegedly using offensive language against law enforcement in a TikTok video.

The Ampang Jaya District Police posted a statement on Facebook, with Chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Azam Ismail revealing that the suspect, a man in his 30s, was taken into custody around 7 PM in Pandan Jaya.

He tested positive for drugs

Azam mentioned that the incident came to light after a police personnel from the Pandan Indah station saw the said TikTok video posted by the user name “theintheinzaw403”.

The 45-second clip, which has racked up over 160K views, reportedly features some pretty derogatory comments specifically aimed at the police.

However, the initial urine screening test revealed that the suspect tested positive for meth and amphetamine (AMP).
