Trying to narrow down my favourite kind of food isn’t easy, but if I had to choose one, it would definitely be pasta. No one can resist a plate of good pasta!

Here are the eight best pasta places in Klang Valley where you can find a decent plate of pasta to satisfy your cravings!

 

1. Soft Launch Cafe & Desserts

Soft Launch Cafe & Desserts located at Jalan Radin Bagus, Sri Petaling serves one of the best pasta in town. This cozy cafe serves all kinds of pasta including Pesto pasta, Nyonya Laksa pasta, Tom Yam pasta, Aglio Olio, Chicken Bolognese as well as Chicken Carbonara! A foodie account on Instagram, Josfooditude told WORLD OF BUZZ that their Chicken Carbonara is a must-try dish as they serve a great amount of fried chicken, and it pairs up perfectly with the creamy carbonara!

2. Pasta Panas

Pasta Panas is a fast-casual dining outlet that serves classic Italian food. They have many outlets all over Selangor and Kuala Lumpur areas, such as Bangsar, Sri Petaling, USJ 8, Bangi, and Mont Kiara. An avid Pasta Panas fan who wishes to be referred to as T, told WORLD OF BUZZ that his favourite dishes from Pasta Panas are the Laza Mac and Shoyu Mac, and if you’re a spicy food lover, just go for their spicy pasta! The portion of each serving is just nice and the price is pretty affordable as it is very fulfilling!

3. Jibby & Co

Jibby & Co is located at Empire Shopping Gallery and it serves you with one of the best pastas in Klang Valley. A few of their best-recommended dishes are the Carbonara Pasta and Tiger Prawn & Blue Swimmer Crab pasta! One of Jibby & Co’s fans, V, told WORLD OF BUZZ that her favourite dish is definitely the Tiger Prawn & Blue Swimmer Crab pasta. She said she has never tasted pasta that is so creamy and flavourful!

According to V, they are super generous with the tiger prawns and she literally salivates while thinking about it!

4. Blonde

Blonde is located at Bukit Damansara and they serve delicious all-day meals from breakfast to dinner. It is a definite must-go spot if you’re looking for some good pasta! One of the best-recommended dishes is the Squid Ink Pasta with ikura (salmon roe) as well as seaweed. Just look at the mouth-watering presentation of the dish!

I personally love the Meatball Spaghetti with the rich plum tomato sauce sides and savoury meatballs. There’s also a slightly spicy taste from the chili flakes.Ā

5. Little People

If you are looking for a unique twist in the sauce that accompanies your pasta, you should go for Little People located at Avantas Residences, Jalan Klang Lama! Their Pink Pasta 2.0Ā features their own homemade beetroot pasta, housemade chili oil, alfalfa, chicken dice, and a poached egg. Not only does it look cute in pink, but it also tastes flavourful with the use of simple ingredients.

6. New Chapter by The Owls Cafe

New Chapter by The Owls Cafe is one of the most popular cafes located at Bukit Jalil. They’re typically known for their waffles and pasta! According to The Owls Cafe, the top three most highly-recommended pasta in the house would be the Aglio Olio with Seabass, Ultraman Pasta, and Creamy Seafood Pasta. The Creamy Seafood Pasta is a very special dish in the house. It has a rich curry taste topped with a sunny-side-up and parmesan cheese. You can grab your owlsome pasta from all five of their outlets!

7. Kaffe 16

Kaffe 16 is a new cafe that shares a space with Beryl’s Lot 18, located at Kwai Chai Hong, Kuala Lumpur. This cozy cafe serves eight types of pasta, including the classic favourites like the Seafood Olio spaghetti, Mushroom Olio spaghetti, and Beef Bolognese spaghetti. I have tried the Spicy Tomato Prawn Spaghetti as it is one of their best sellers according to Kaffe 16’s crew. The prawns are really fresh especially when it is mixed with the tomato taste. I enjoyed it a lot even I am not a seafood lover!

8. Basil Pasta House

Basil Pasta House is located at Kuchai Lama and is very highly rated in terms of the quality of food they serve to their customers. They serve a variety of pasta from their house pasta to the classic pasta, and all their dishes have received good reviews! A foodie named J told WORLD OF BUZZ that one of the best-recommended dishes is definitely the Parma Ham & White Truffle Cream Pasta. It is indeed flavourful and creamy. In terms of the price, the dishes are also reasonable for the portion of each dish provided.
