Perak PAS Chief, Haji Razman Zakaria who previously claimed that Hannah Yeoh was the daughter of the late Yeoh Tiong Lay now wants ‘Becoming Hannah’ to be investigated.

In an official statement shared on his Facebook post, Razman said he had lodged a report against Hannah Yeoh’s book, which he said contains “specific agendas” that may pose a threat to the harmony of the country.

Razman also claims Becoming Hannah is a move to spread Christianity in Malaysia, and wants the book banned for all Muslims.

“I am filing this police report to enable the police to investigate the evangelical movement involving Yeoh, which is contrary to the position of Islam as the religion of the Federation.”

“It is an offence for Becoming Hannah to be sold openly to Muslims.”

Razman’s police report and subsequent statement calling for a book ban was in response to Yeoh who sent a letter of demand against Razman for claiming she had an agenda to spread Christianity in a speech in late January.

The man also said Becoming Hannah contains excerpts that show Hannah claiming to be “God’s ambassador”.

Apart from calling for an investigation into Yeoh and for her book to be banned, Razman also urged her to resign from the cabinet.

“I also call on all Muslims in this country who love Islam and harmony to urge Yeoh to resign from her position as Minister of Youth and Sports.”

Hannah Yeoh, on the other hand, had confirmed earlier that the book was never intended as a move to spread Christianity.
