After a gas pipeline exploded in Putra Heights on the second day of Raya (April 1), the extreme heat forced some residents to jump into the nearby river to escape the flames which resulted in some children and their family members struggling to stay afloat in the water.

In a remarkable display of bravery and selflessness, five Pakistani men who were nearby helped in the rescue mission despite the dangers posed by the fire and the river.
