OMG, The World’s First Pusheen Cafe is Opening in Jan 2019 in Singapore & It Looks Adorable!

Fans of that cute little grey cat, Pusheen will be delighted to know that the world’s first Pusheen-themed cafe is opening soon and the location is really close to us! The adorable kitty which has been capturing the Internet by storm since 2010 will be making an appearance in a special cafe in Singapore in January 2019. 

Created by American couple Claire Belton and Andrew Duff, the illustrated cat character has a whole range of merchandise, books and films out there. And now, Business Insider has reported that the first Pusheen cafe in the world will be opening on January 6, 2019 at Jalan Klapa cafe Kumoya.

However, it will only be a pop-up cafe that is expected to last until sometime in March, so better head on over to catch the chubby cat before it moves. Not only will the cafe be full of Pusheen-themed decor that is designed by Belton herself, you can expect the menu to look equally adorable featuring yummy food items as well.

There will be three themed mains on the menu, all featuring the lovable cartoon kitty that will make you fall in love with its cuteness and possibly take dozens of photos. These mains include a Pusheen aglio olio, a charcoal rice Pusheen adorably snuggling with some fried chicken and a shrimp burger with Pusheen’s face on the charcoal buns. Too cute to eat! 

All of these dishes were designed by food artist and Instagram star, @littlemissbento who has also worked for the Gudetama themed cafe in Suntec City as well. Yes, that lazy little egg! That’s not all, the stunning dessert spread is to-die-for as it features a ‘Cat on a Cloud Floating Joy Parfait’ with a lychee soft serve, Pusheen cookie and macaron.

A meal at the Pusheen x Kumoya cafe would not be complete without drinks and of course, the beverages are just as Instagrammable as there are several Pusheen-themed ones as well. One of the drinks makes it look like Pusheen is floating on a cloud, which is actually a peach soda with lychee jelly strips, topped with cotton candy.
