When Coldplay first announced that they were extending additional dates (totaling in 6 nights) in Singapore for their Music of the Spheres World Tour, Malaysians were in an uproar considering we were only allocated 1 night.

Now, Coldplay might be regretting that decision.

Netizen, @nicolealano, took to her TikTok account to showcase people leaving early during one of the Coldplay shows in Singapore, to which lead singer Chris Martin himself apparently acknowledged the early leavers.

She wrote, “WHY are people leaving halfway?? Chris noticed and said ‘have a safe trip home‘, not sure if it’s because he saw people leaving.”

In the video, crowds could be seen leaving the stadium as Coldplay performed the song, Biutyful, with their fictional alien puppet band, The Weirdos.

Technically, people were not leaving halfway as the song was supposedly the last one in Coldplay’s set list. Though, people started leaving despite the band still performing and the show not ending yet.

People have since taken to Nicole’s post to make fun of and call out Singaporean Coldplay concert goers for leaving while the band was still playing.

Considering the amount of people who really wanted to attend but couldn’t get tickets, it’s truly saddening to see how concertgoers disregarded the band during the final song for the night.
