In a high-speed crash captured on dashcam film, a driver of a Myvi vehicle who was under the influence of narcotics caused an accident involving four other cars.

The incident occurred on June 5, 2022, and footage released on Twitter by @My CrimeWatch has received 174,000 views.

Many motorcycle racers can be seen rushing along the PLUS Highway at the Pedas/Linggi exit in the footage.

The aforementioned black Myvi appeared out of nowhere in the fast lane before rear-ending a Toyota Avanza, sending both vehicles spiraling across the highway lanes and crashing into three additional cars.

A spectator is overheard claiming that one of the impacted autos had a kid passenger.

As motorists gathered nearby to inspect the passengers and the crash, the driver was seen attempting to hide a home-made bong.

@Zachkry, a motorcyclist on the scene, said on Twitter that the driver claimed to be the revered Imam al-Mahdi (believed to be the last of the Twelve Imams and the eschatological Mahdi, who will emerge at the end of time to establish peace and justice and redeem Islam).

The motorist is seen confessing and preaching Islam’s declaration of faith in the footage.

Pray

In what is described as yet another ‘Myvi buat hal’ incident, Malaysians on Twitter have taken online to voice their disapproval towards the irresponsible driver and their fears that despite being a safe driver, one can still get into accidents.

Finally, many Malaysians were also commenting that the driver must have been more than just marijuana and criticized Malaysians fighting to legalize medical marijuana.

In a separate statement, the Seremban PDRM has stated that they will be charging the young driver with the Dangerous Drugs Act.
