A Malaysian woman recently took to TikTok to share her traumatising experience involving her close friend betraying her trust, not once, but twice.
In a video that has gone viral with over 1.9 million views and more than 185,000 likes, the woman, @afieqahhasanah shared how a close friend was caught breastfeeding her child without her permission.
She further elaborated that the incident happened during a family event in the first week of May and that until today, the incident keeps playing in her head to the point that she wants to cry from the stress.
In the 3-minute video, @afieqahhasanah said that the left her child to the care of her friend for a while.
She was then shocked to find the close friend breastfeeding her toddler. The friend claimed that she did so because the baby was crying.
@afieqahhasanah asserted,
“I have lost the ability to trust other people, I’m really downhearted. I take good care of my children, ensuring that no people kiss or hug them because I’m afraid that they would get infected by diseases after hearing what had happened to other toddlers.”
“But this close friend did that to my child, not even asking for my permission to do so.”
Not only that, but she also said that the incident was actually the second time that this happened as the second time, she was caught breastfeeding the child by @afieqahhasanah‘s mother.

In the video’s comments section, many netizens were angered by the action of the close friend and sympathised with the woman for what had transpired.
One commenter said that she was really enraged after hearing what had happened, while another commenter couldn’t imagine something happening to her own children.
Another commenter was perplexed by the actions of the close friend as breastfeeding another person’s child is not something you would do if a baby cries, as wouldn’t the best course of action is to hand the baby over to their parents?
