M’sian Witnesses Thaipusam Parade Firsthand as it Passes Right in Front of Her Home

Thaipusam is a significant Hindu festival dedicated to Lord Murugan, celebrated primarily by the Tamil community. It involves vibrant processions, devotional acts, and sometimes elaborate rituals like the kavadi parade.

This netizen shared her unique and fascinating experience when a group of devotees made her day much more interesting when a parade happened right before her home!

She said, “I don’t have to join the parade; I can witness it right in front of my home.”

Since she lives near Batu Caves, many Gombak folks commenting on the video had this to say.

“This is Gombak! We love seeing this happening throughout the years living here.”

“There is a reason why the entourage is singing and dancing. It is done to motivate the kavadi carrier and those around to dance,” said another.
