As siblings, we’d never believe that our brothers and/or sisters are able to emit any other feelings besides annoyance.

But every once in a while, we’re treated to a sneak peek into our siblings’ least obvious emotions that are only shown to their significant others.

Twitter user Syafi (@SyafiqahHamsah) took to her account to showcase a jar of coins her cancer stricken brother has been using to save up in order to visit his girlfriend.

Syafi wrote, “Went into my brother’s room and saw this, so cute!”

‘To see her,’ was written on the jar.

As according to Malay Mail, Syafi’s brother, Amirul has been saving up since he was forced to take a short sabbatical from work due to him being diagnosed with stage 2 Lymphoma in July, 2019. Syafi added that his beautiful and kind girlfriend has stuck by his side since.

“He’s also very lucky to have such a beautiful girlfriend, who’s really nice too. Even though she knows my brother has cancer, she never left him, she cares even more. She even sent pastries for him to our home on his birthday,” she said.

Luckily, Amirul is now healing after finishing his chemotherapy sessions and can hopefully take that trip to see his girlfriend that he’s been saving up for.

For Syafi, she’s hoping that now that her brother is feeling better and she has seen his romantic side, he’ll start a savings jar to treat her.

“He’s so persistent. After this, I should get him to start a new piggy bank so that he can spend the money on me,” she joked.

Syafi’s posting has since garnered over 10,400 retweets.

I hear wedding bells in the future for these two!
