Congratulations, Jeryl Lee!

Malaysian singer Jeryl Lee is officially the champion of China’s singing TV show, “The Next 2023”.

Jeryl entered the final and won over other top 5 contestants in the show, namely Wang OK, Zhang Yu Zi, Wu Yao Tao, and Zhuohaitun Band which consists of members Lin Zhe Yu and Shao Hao Fan.

On 30 September 2023, Jeryl Lee took to Instagram to express her gratitude to all fans. “Hello everyone, I am Lee Pei Ling from Malaysia, and I am also the overall winner of The Next 2023. I still feel like I’m dreaming, I’m really thankful for everyone around me,” she said.

She also added that it has been 15 years since she started singing, and 7 years since she debuted. “It’s not easy to keep singing until now. Every time I want to give up, I tell myself to hang in there for a little while more. This time, I can finally confidently say that I did it!” she stated proudly.

Jeryl Lee also thanked the crew behind The Next 2023, and her team for believing in her. She urges everyone to be brave and bold in trying things, and don’t give up. “If I can do it, so can you!”

Congratulations once again Jeryl Lee Pei Ling for making Malaysians proud!
