A heartwarming video went viral recently, showing a local man stepping in to help after spotting a woman struggling to push her motorcycle by the roadside while she was travelling alone from Johor Bahru to Kuala Lumpur.

In a TikTok video shared by @ayp.sbk, the man, Pong, is seen approaching the woman to check if she was okay. She then explained that her motorcycle had run out of fuel.

A kind Malaysian helps push a woman’s motorcycle and lends his car

Pong then asked if she knew how to drive and went the extra mile by offering to lend her the car he was driving.

“I can help you push the motorcycle. You must be tired already. I think there’s a petrol station up ahead,” he told her.

Trusting a complete stranger, he instructed the woman to drive his car to the petrol station and wait for him there while he stayed behind with the motorcycle.

“Only after the car disappeared did I realise I had just helped a total stranger… but what’s done is done,” he joked in the caption.

Another motorcyclist joined in to help push the motorcycle

In a follow-up video, Pong’s act of kindness didn’t go unnoticed, as another passing motorcyclist soon stopped to help, and together they managed to push the motorcycle to a nearby petrol station.

After the incident, the woman reached out to Pong to thank him for lending a hand when she needed it most.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Pong shared that the incident happened in Machap, near the Pagoh RnR heading towards Kuala Lumpur.

He also offered a simple piece of advice:

“Don’t wait until it’s easy to help. Help first, and things will get easier later.”
