We often hear about domestic violence happening at home where the husband abuses the wife but rarely do we hear it the other way around. However, it does happen more frequently than you think as proven by this recent case of a poor, abused husband getting caned by his wife because he couldn’t fulfill her voracious sexual appetite.

According to Chinapress, the 32-year-old factory worker who lives in Klang had to satisfy his wife, who requested for sex up to seven to 10 times a day. So many times! He could not reject his wife’s demands even if he pleaded excuses such as being too tired from work.
If he refused her demands, he would be ordered to kneel down and receive his punishment, whereby she would cane him all over his body repeatedly. Apparently the suffering husband endured this mistreatment from his wife for several years before finally breaking down and seeking for help.

The abused man turned to Community Policing Malaysia founder, Kuan Chee Heng for help as he couldn’t take it anymore. Kuan said that the factory worker and his 31-year-old wife, who is a full-time housewife, has several children together and when the man approached him, he showed him the cane marks that covered his body and buttocks.
The victim also said that he did not want to make a police report as he was ashamed and wanted to keep his family intact. Kuan advised the man to have a proper discussion with his wife and bring her for medical help and counselling.

Kuan also said that this year, he had received an average of seven to eight reports of abused husbands but there may be many more cases that go unreported as the husband is often ashamed of making a report. The ages of these victims mostly range from those in their 30s to 40s but he has also reportedly received complaints from some husbands who are over 50 years old.
He said sometimes the wife may even use a knife to threaten the husband.
It doesn’t matter if you are a man or woman, if you are abused, seek help immediately.
