Hit and run cases are the worst!

A Malaysian in KL was unfortunate as he had experienced a really bad hit and run on Sunday (5 June) in Taman Danau Desa.

According to the Malaysian named Wesley’s Facebook post, it happened in the evening at about 6.25pm at a junction near the Shell petrol station.

Wesley told WORLD OF BUZZ that at that time, he was at a bar overlooking his parked car when he saw that a white Honda Civic had turned in at the junction and banged into the back of his car.

Rather than stopping, the driver of the white car sped off. Thankfully at that time, a good samaritan that was following behind managed to take a picture of the Civic’s full license plate and send it to Wesley.

With that, Wesley went to lodge a police report and upon checking, the sergeant told Wesley that the Civic’s insurance and road tax are both expired. So, Wesley is unable to claim for the damage caused.

He is still looking for the owner of the white Civic.

“FYI, I’m not looking to fight, I just need that driver to settle my car’s repair bills only.”

Up until now, Wesley has received a few contact numbers but he is unable to verify yet if it is the perpetrator.

Wesley hopes that members of the public can help to identify the owner of the car so he can get compensation for the damages. If you have any information, you can text Wesley @ 016-3221269.

UPDATE: According to the responsible party, they have already lodged a report with the police and have paid 4 summons in the process.
