It seems that during every festive season in Malaysia, shopping malls will be competing with each other to have the most creative and awe-inspiring decorations to attract people to come and visit the mall. Well, during this Chinese New Year, one mall definitely stood out from the rest of the lot due to its festive decorations, but unfortunately, it’s for all the wrong reasons.

Shared by Bintulu News Page, a shopping mall in Bintulu, Sarawak has been utilising the most bizarre tiger costume for its mascot during this Chinese New Year period which looks more comical than fierce. I mean, just take a look at the tiger costume yourself:

Photos of the tiger costume has since gone viral throughout social media with the post by Binutulu News Page itself garnering more than 550 shares and 2,800 likes as of the time of writing. Furthermore, the photos has also made its rounds across Twitter with many making fun of the weird-looking costumes.

However, despite many mocking the mall’s tiger costume, many has expressed their intention to visit the mall just to take a selfie with it. So, in a “it’s so bad that it’s good” kind of way, the decorations have definitely achieved its intention to bring people to the mall.
