Nicknamed “The World’s Hottest Grandpa”, this 80-year old grandpa is taking the world and the internet by storm! The foxy elderly was risen to fame after he strut down the catwalk during China Fashion Week.
Wang Deshun was born and raised in Shenyang, China. Although loved by all, he says:
“But did you know that to prepare for this day, I’ve been getting ready for 60 years.”

His started off as a theatrical actor at the age of 24. He later left that field to teach English when he was 44. At 49, he founded a pantomime troupe. Which is something like theater acting, usually mute, to a song.
After all that he became a drifter in Beijing. Not the kind with cars, but more like a nomad. Did odd jobs here and there. It was the lowest point of his life.

Then later when he was 50, he went to a gym for the first time. He started working out and eventually built a solid body. At 57, he returned to theater and created “the world’s only form of performance art” that he called ‘Living Sculpture Performance’.
He even made quite a name for himself as he performed in Germany, France, South Korea and more. He would often pose for hours at a time while featuring his painted body.
When he was 70, he really got into working out and became a true gym rat! Later at 79, he walked his first runway in Beijing and blew the minds of everyone present! Everyone lit up when they saw the elderly man strut his way down the catwalk in good shape.
The internet worked it’s magic after that and got him super viral!
“I’m 80 this year and still got some left in me. Believe me, potential can be explored.
When you think it’s too late, be careful you don’t let that become your excuse for giving up.”
