An old photo is circulating online, showcasing what looks like a formal letter of notice allegedly from the Ministry of Education (MoE) and the school board of the SMK Seksyen 4 Bandar Kinrara, in regards to male students having to participate in mandatory penis inspections

The school’s administrative senior assistant, Muhammad Asri Heman, recently clarified that it was a prank by a Form 5 student

Based on a report by Sinar Daily, Asri informed that the student shared the ‘letter’ online, though for unknown reasons. He also made it clear that both the school and the ministry have never conducted such inspections on the students.

Asri added that Form 5 students were worried about relieving themselves in the washroom over the concern that someone was going to check their privates.

“The student was suspended. Action has been taken against him,” he said, assuring that the incident was resolved and is in the past.

The letter donning the MoE logo had informed male Form 5 students of mandatory penis inspections per ‘Health Code 6.9’ and that those who failed to report to the inspections would not be given their 2020 SPM slips.

“This year’s penis inspection will take place on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 during Assembly.”

“All circumcised males should report to the Bilik Disiplin (280), and all uncircumcised males should report to the Bilik Media (273). Thee will only be ONE makeup date on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 8:00am. If you are unable to attend, a district official can arrange to meet with you on your own time,” the notice read.

The letter also insisted that all penises be in ‘clean and orderly’ conditions for the inspection.

What do you think about this – did the students go too far? Let us know in the comment section.
