Man Drowns To Death After Jumping Into Klang River Near Pasar Seni Lrt Station - World Of Buzz

A man was found dead after he jumped into the famous river Klang River, according to Harian Metro. The report revealed that the man jumped into Klang River near the Pasar Seni LRT (Light-Rail Transit) Station in Kuala Lumpur and drowned to death.

The spokesperson of JBPM (Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat) Operations Centre said that they received the alarming call about the incident at around 11.46 am on 30th August 2019. The spokesperson was quoted as saying,

“15 of us, including the PPDA (Unit Pasukan Penyelam Di Air), and three machineries from the Hang Tuah Fire and Rescue Department were rushed to the location. As soon as we arrived, we started the search and rescue operation from Pasar Seni up until Puchong.”

Finally, after a thorough search, the body of the man – who is in his 40s – floating in Kampung Petaling Bahagia, Jalan Klang Lama at around 5.45 am on 30th August 2019.

The spokesperson further added that the body was brought out at 6.14 am and it was handed over to the police for further investigations.

As of now, further information regarding the case has not been revealed and the motive of the man who jumped into the Klang River still remains a mystery.
