Police are urging the man to file a police report

Police have taken notice of the viral video and are now urging the man who claimed he was sexually harassed by a balloon seller in Genting Highlands to come forward and file an official report.

In a statement, Bentong District Police Chief Superintendent Zaiham Mohd Kahar said that no report has been lodged so far regarding the incident.

“We’re asking the owner of the TikTok account to come to the Bentong District Police Headquarters (IPD) to assist with the investigation,” he said today.

“He may have been targeted”

Preliminary checks by Bentong police on the TikTok user’s content revealed several similar incidents, suggesting that the individual may have been targeted in attempted criminal acts at multiple locations.

Zaiham has also urged anyone who has experienced similar encounters to come forward and contact the police or visit the nearest police station to file a report.

He reminded the public to lodge a report if they’ve been victims of any criminal act, so that a proper and thorough investigation can be carried out.
