In recent times, Malaysians are bombarded with traffic incidents, hit and runs and many more traffic offences that are all caught on video.

You would think that after all these incidences, people would be a bit more careful of how they would conduct themselves on the road, but based on this video taken in Muar, Johor, some of us have yet to learn our lesson.

In a 45-second video, a school student was attempting to cross the busy road right in front of her school, Sekolah Agama Bakri, Batu 6, Muar, Johor.

After waiting for her turn to cross the road, she had to sprint across the zebra crossing as people using the road paid zero attention to the red light in the area.

Pay attention to the red light, because nobody stopped and paid no attention to the child attempting to cross the busy road.

Ugh!

Angry, netizens commenting on the video shared their astonishment at what the student had to do just to make it safely across.

We sincerely hope that the authorities will look into this matter, before something bad happens.
